## Abstract The title reaction, which is spin‐forbidden for N~2~(X^1^βˆ‘) + NO(X^2^Ξ ) production, has been studied from 960 to 1130 K in a high‐temperature photochemistry reactor. No reaction could be observed, indicating __k__ < 1 Γ— 10^βˆ’15^ cm^3^ molecule^βˆ’1^ s^βˆ’1^. It is concluded that there is no

The kinetics are reported for the gas-phase reactions of VO(X Z-) with Oz, NO, and CO2 at 297,394, and 53 1 K, and at total pressures up to 165 Torr using argon bath gas. VO was produced by the multiphoton dissociation of VOCls (g) at 193 nm and was detected by laser-induced fluorescence. Measured r
