The Mechanically Activated Self-propagating High temperature Synthesis (MASHS) has been employed to obtain nanostructured Mg 2 Ni alloys. MASHS process has been further improved by controlling the electrical parameter measurements during the combustion reaction under the thermal explosion mode. The
