✦ Synopsis
The results from the separate analyses demonstrate clearly that the two hamiltonian operators are essentially equivalent, both achieving equally satisfactory representations of the spectral data, and furnishing virtually identical Born-Oppenheimer potential functions. Fully quantum-mechanical vibrational eigenvalues and rotational perturbation series parameters B v -O v are presented for the lower levels of the X 1 ⌺ ϩ ground state for which infrared and/or microwave data are available (v Љ Յ 7 for H 35 Cl and H 37 Cl, v Љ Յ 10 for D 35 Cl and D 37 Cl). These parameters collectively reproduce the corresponding spectroscopic line positions included in our fit to within the uncertainties of the measurements.

Transition probabilities for the B 1 + -X 1 + and the B 1 + -A 1 electronic systems are presented for v = 0-4 and J = 0-150 in each electronic state. The functional form of the electronic transition moment for the B-X transition is taken from published ab initio results. The B-A moment is assumed to
Thermal emission of scandium monofluoride has been spectroscopically investigated at high resolution in the region \(7000-12000 \mathrm{~cm}^{-1}\) with a Fourier transform spectrometer. The predicted low-energy \(c^{3} \Sigma^{+}\)state is observed in a transition to the ground state; six bands of
Emission spectra of the b 1 ⌺ ϩ 3 X 3 ⌺ Ϫ and a 1 ⌬ 3 X 3 ⌺ Ϫ transitions of SO in the near-infrared spectral region were studied at high spectral resolution with a Fourier-transform spectrometer. The 0 -0 band of the b 3 X system was measured at high signal/noise and four magnetic dipole branches w
The emission spectrum of VN has been investigated in the 3400-19 400 cm -1 region using a Fourier transform spectrometer. The bands were observed from the reaction of VOCl 3 vapor with active nitrogen. In addition to the previously known transitions of VN, several new bands observed in the visible a
The b 1 ⌺ ϩ (b0 ϩ ) 7 X 3 ⌺ Ϫ (X 1 0 ϩ ,X 2 1) transitions of SbH and SbD have been studied by laser-induced fluorescence measurements. Ground state SbH(SbD) radicals were generated in a fast-flow system by reaction of microwave-discharged hydrogen (deuterium) with antimony vapor. Vibrational levels
