One-Pot Reduction of Carboxylic Acids via O-Acylisoureas. -A simple one-pot conversion of carboxylic acids to primary alcohols is reported. Functional groups like nitro, amides, and carbamates as well as double bonds are tolerated. Aromatic carboxylic acids like (III) give a mixture of the alcohol
