## Abstract Nefopam hydrochloride (I), an analgesic agent, was labelled with carbon‐13 at C‐1,3,4 and 6 positions for metabolic studies. The starting materials for the synthesis included commercially available phthalic acid‐carboxyl‐^13^C~1~ (II) and 2‐methylaminoethyl‐1,2‐^13^C~2~ alcohol. The ext

## Abstract ^13^C and ^15^N NMR chemical shifts are reported for 2,3‐diphenyltetrazolium‐5‐olate and ‐5‐thiolate and some of their derivatives. The data for N‐1 and C‐5 provide a very satisfactory means of distinguishing between O and S as the exocyclic substituent. The reported chemical shifts are
## Abstract ^13^C, ^14^N and ^15^N NMR data are reported for some mesoionic 2,3‐diphenyltetrazoles with nitrogen‐containing exocyclic groups, and the data confirm their cyclic structures. The protonated forms of these mesoionic structures contain hydrogen atoms at the exocyclic groups.
A new synthesis of i' 5N-, 5,4-13C1-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) starting from amorphous 13C is described. NMR-spectroscopic data ( HI 13C, 15N) of the product are presented.
