✦ Synopsis

Twenty years ago, in 1986, the Journal of Orthopaedic Research was only three years old. That year 58 articles were published in four issues of the Journal, for a total of 520 pages. This year, the Journal is published monthly with Wiley as the new publisher. The goals are to publish 230 articles in approximately 1600 pages and to encourage authors to submit additional supplementary material to be made available on-line.
