โœฆ Synopsis

Photolyses of rhodium(III) complexes, Rh(NH3)sX3 (X = CI-and Br_), under intense m%netic fields, e.g. &,-it = 360 nm and H = 24 kG, have been investigated. The magnetic field quenches the photoaquation of the ammonia and enhances the photoaquation of the acid0 @and, X = Cl-or Br-, by 10% for H = 24 kG. The implication of two different precursors in the formation of the photoproducts is discussed_

The technique of simulating the mechanical behaviour of the coil assembly for SC magnets is described using as an example a DXB series SC dipole for the UNK. The results of numeric simulation as well as the field harmonics dependences on the magnetic shield saturation with account of various forms o
