โœฆ Synopsis

The technique of simulating the mechanical behaviour of the coil assembly for SC magnets is described using as an example a DXB series SC dipole for the UNK. The results of numeric simulation as well as the field harmonics dependences on the magnetic shield saturation with account of various forms of the design deformations are presented.

A physical mechanism is suggested for a resonant interaction of weak magnetic fields with biological systems. An ion inside a Caz+-binding protein is approximated by a charged oscillator. A shift in the probability of ion transition between different vibrational energy levels occurs when a combinati

In a system of parallel superconducting wires, which are connected at their ends, any two conductors form a closed superconducting loop, in which, according to the law of induction, no variation of the enclosed magnetic flux can occur. If a transverse magnetic field is applied to the system, the clo
