Ethylenediamine tetra-acetic acid disodium salt dihydrate was used as an impregnating reagent to resolve some cephalosporins. Both changes in the concentration of the impregnating reagent and in the composition of the mobile phase influenced the resolution. Three new solvent systems (I) propionic ac

β¦ Synopsis
Thin layer chromatography has been applied by several workers for the qualitative and quantitative estimation of saponins in plant extracts [2][3][4][5][8][9][10]. Numerous developing systems are applied for saponin separation. Of these the two that appear to be most often used are n-butanolethanol -33% NH,OH (7 : 2 : 5) and chloroformmethanolwater ( 65: 35 : 10) [lo]. Visualization spray includes CARR-PRICE reagent [4], LIBERMANN-BURCHARD reagent [9], phosphortungstic acid [5] and H2S0, solutions [3, 101. Quantitative analysis applies TLC-spectrophotometry [6] and TLC-densitometry [8].
The aim of the work was to compare the separations of selected saponins by thin-layer chromatography depending on the kind of applied chamber (classical or sandwich) and depending on the type of silica-gel plate (TLC or HPTLC).

## Abstract The cooling performance of a plateβfinβtype heat sink equipped with a cooling fan was investigated experimentally. The heat sink was 80 mm long, 43 mm wide, and 24 mm in height (including the 4βmmβthick base). The cooling fan was 40 Γ 40 Γ 15 mm and was set to direct the air flow vertic
Increases in the power density per unit volume of an IC due to higher density of integration and higher operating speed cause increased heat generation. In order to avoid undesirable effects of the temperature increase on the reliability of the devices, heat sinks are installed. However, although mu
