โฆ Synopsis
An absorption spectrum near 4800 A was observed from flash photolysis of a mixture of Cr(CC& + hfo(CO& vapours, which is tentatively assigned to the CrMo molecule.

A new absorption spectrum of the \(\mathrm{BCl}\) radical is obtained using the well known flash discharge technique in the vacuum UV region \(1400-1700 \AA\). Four new electronic states, three Rydberg and one valence, are established. The vibrational and partial rotational analyses are carried out.
The absorption spectrum of GeO, between 2000 and 300 ร , was recorded using the facilities of the SUPERACO synchrotron radiation in Orsay, France. The first three ionization limits, corresponding to the X 2 โบ ฯฉ , A 2 โธ, and B 2 โบ ฯฉ states of the GeO ฯฉ ion, were confirmed at 11.2814, 11.42, and 15.048
The electronic spectrum of CrO\* 2-is identical to that of &InO; exceptfor &I energy inversion of the 3rd nnd 4th band systems. A very we&lowest-energy band, the authenticity of whfch has been in debate for bln0;. is unambiguously present in CrO'-. The intense (E, z 104) 55 560 cm-l band of CrOz-and
