Abstract
A simple colorimetric method for the analysis of iodides in developers suitable for use in the photographic processing trade is described. Used motion picture and Xβray developers contain negligible amounts of iodide, but some reversal first developers contain significant quantities. The results are discussed in the light of solubility product data.
