A procedure was described for the rapid determination of glucosamine and galactosamine in total acid hydrolyzate of rat renal glomerular basement membrane (GBM) by the use of amino acid analyzer. Glucosamine and galactosamine, as well as other amino acids in glycoprotein hydrolyzate, were well ident
