An IgG-binding ligand library comprising 88 adsorbents based on a known lead compound (Li et al., 1998) was generated on an agarose solid phase. Individual members of the library were synthesized in two chemical steps using cyanuric chloride as the scaffold immobilized on the beaded support. The lib

โฆ Synopsis
The ยฎrst total synthesis of an o-amino 5-HETE derivative 27 has been accomplished by a new counterclockwise strategy, in which C-1 is constructed ยฎrst and C-20 last. The o-amino 5-HETE derivative was transformed to an anity chromatography ligand, the biotinylated 5-HETE 30. This anity chromatography ligand is aimed at purifying the 5-hydroxyeicosanoid dehydrogenase enzyme, which is responsible for the conversion of 5-HETE to 5-oxo-ETE, a potent eosinophil chemotactic factor.
