โฆ Synopsis
The hole mobility in polycarbonate doped with 17% of a triphenylaminobenzene derivative decreases as the electric field increases above 1 X 10" V/cm. It was possible to fit the mobility data to the expression derived by Marcus, relating the free energy of hole transfer to the free activation energy of this process, with the hopping distance (r), reorganization energy (d) and kO. the hole transfer rate constant when AC, equals -I, as adjustable parameters. Values of 2.7 nm, 0.33 eV, 4.88x IO6 SK' respectively, were obtained for these parameters.
