A noncommercial Hadamard transform microscopic image analysis system was used to measure fluorescence emitted by single cells. A method for subtracting the native fluorescence of the Zephyranthes candida(Lindl.) Herb. pollen cell was developed based on its correlation to pollen area. Acridine orange
