The He(I) photoelectron spectrum of PFs has been determined. Assignments for the six observed bands arc suggested and comparisons with several semi-empirical moiecular orbital calculations are made. Particular interest is associated with the fifth band since it eshibits vibrational fine structure.

In this study sequential 1H and 19F magnetic resonance imaging methods were used to map the distribution of fluorinated compounds in vivo. An intravenously administered emulsion of perfluorooctylbromide (PFOB), an agent known to localize in the reticuloendothelial system, was detected in the liver a
## Abstract The ^19^F spectrum of __cis__β1,2βdichlorohexafluorocyclobutane has been fully analysed on the basis of an [ABX]~2~ spin system, with initial treatment at an [AMX]~2~ level. The chemical shift and coupling constants are presented, and the latter are discussed. Some comments are made on
The experimental energies and widths of the resonances in rgF are compared with those of a shell-model calculation. This model predicts positive parity 2plh states that are formed by treating the target '\*O as the core. It is assumed that these doorway states fragment via couplings with more comple
