Abstract

The ^19^F spectrum of cis‐1,2‐dichlorohexafluorocyclobutane has been fully analysed on the basis of an [ABX]~2~ spin system, with initial treatment at an [AMX]~2~ level. The chemical shift and coupling constants are presented, and the latter are discussed. Some comments are made on the spectrum of the trans isomer.
