In the title compound, [Zn(C 12 H 27 O 3 SSi) 2 (C 5 H 8 N 2 )]ÁC 3 H 8 O, the Zn II centre is coordinated by the N atom of the 2ethylimidazole ligand and two S and two O atoms of the two thiolate ligands in a trigonal-bipyramidal geometry. The hydroxyl group of the propan-2-ol solvent molecule form
