## Abstract 2‐Oxo‐5‐(pyruvoylamino)valerian‐methylamid (**15**) wird über die Stufen **10**–**14** aufgebaut. **15**, in kristallinem Zustand und in Chloroformlösung stabil, bildet in verdünnter Chlorwasserstoffsäure durch zweifachen Ringschluß das Dihydroxy‐cyclodipeptid **16**. Reaktion mit H~2~S
