✦ Synopsis

Ortho-and para-f luoro-a-methylstyrenes specifically 14C-labelled in all three positionsof the side chain have been synthesized by a modified Wittig reaction. synthesized as intermediates. The yields in all cases were good and any radiochemical impurities could be readily removed by careful fractional distillation.
