β¦ Synopsis
The chemical syntheses of I-0-palmitoyl-and 1-0acetyl-2,2-dirnethoxypropane-3-phosphate cyclohexylammonium salt and I-O-palmitoyl-2,2-dimethoxypropane-3-O-phosph,orylethanolamine are reported. The acyl dihydroxyacetone phosphates can serve as intermediates in the pathway for the biosynthesis of phosphatidic acid, phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolarnine, and alkyl glycerolipids.
