โฆ Synopsis
New phosphates of the formula M 3ุ M 2ุ 4 (PO 4 ) 3 O (M 3ุ โซุโฌ Bi and La; M 2ุ โซุโฌ Ca and Sr) are synthesized. The compounds are isostructural with bismuth calcium vanadate, BiCa 4 (VO 4 ) 3 O. A nonlinear increase in both the a and c lattice parameters with an increase in strontium content in the solid solution BiCa 4ุx Sr x (PO 4 ) 3 O (x โซุโฌ 1+4) is observed. The compounds are characterized by infrared spectroscopy.
