## Abstract H~10~TTPR was prepared starting from terephthalaldehyde and characterized. Crystal structure of H~10~TTPR and an intermediate compound 11 were determined by Xโray diffraction analysis. A quasiโreversible redox wave at 1.15 V (vs. SCE) was observed for H~10~TTPR, indicating that it is a

โฆ Synopsis
The titZe quinarenone 2 has been prepared and proved that the three-membered ring possesses a larger diatropicity than diphenyZcycZopropenone and the seven-membered ring exists in a cycloheptatriene (not norcaradienel tautomer having a contribution of a homobenzene structure. The rotational barrier about the intercyclic bond of 2 is 13.3 KcaZ/mol.
