Abstmct--A tritactic polymer, polymethylsorbate (PMS), has been studied by investigation of NMR line-width and second moment at various temperatures. The NMR absorption signal consists of two main components over the range -196 ~ to 115 °. Activation energies of molecular motions were obtained from

✦ Synopsis
Several 3-dehydro-(or ~-oxo-) ecdysteroids have been prepared by enzymatic and/or chemical means. Methods for their purification using various highperformance liquid chromatography systems are described. Proton and carbon nuclear magnetic resonance analyses show that 3-dehydroecdysteroids when dissolved in water or methanol (but not in chloroform) present a temperature-dependent equilibrium between two forms. The possible structure of these two forms is discussed.
