✦ Synopsis

Abstract

For comparison with «snake‐venom bradykinin»^1^, the octapeptide H·Arg‐Pro‐Pro‐Gly‐Phe‐Ser‐Phe‐Arg·OH was synthesized (sequence proposed by ELLIOTT for «trypsin bradykinin»^4^. The synthetic product showed no bradykinin activity when tested on the isolated guinea‐pig ileum.
