The tetrathiaoxalate complex Cp4Ti2C2S4 (1) reacts with an 1,3-C3Hti(SC1)2 (6) or 1,2-CtiH4(SC1), ( 7) , the bi-or monoequimolar amount of C0Cl2 to give the blue-green mono-cyclic tetrakisdisulfanes CtiH,S8 (9b), C8HI2S8 ( l O ) , and nuclear complex Cp2TiC2S4C0 (4). This reaction is anal-CI4H8S8 ( l l ) , respectively, were obtained. The X-ray crystal ogous to the known reactions of 1 with SClz or S2C12. structure analysis of 11 .
