✦ Synopsis

X-ray analysis (XRD) and thermal analysis (DSC and TG) procedures were utilized to investigate structural specifications of carbamates obtained in the reactions of aliphatic and aromatic isocyanates and alcohols with different alkyl radical chain lengths. Because of their structures, the studied carbamates can be considered low molecular weight analogues of urethane polymers. Those compounds were found to have similar crystal structures, irrespective of their chemical structures. However, differences could be observed when they were heated up. In particular, low molecular weight monocarbamates tend just to evaporate up to 300°C while thermal oxidative decomposition of dicarbamates could be noticed under those conditions.

## Abstract Hydroxyl‐terminated polybutadiene (HTPB)‐based allophanate–urethane networks were prepared by reacting HTPB with di‐isocyanates, such as toluene–di‐isocyanate (TDI), isophorone–di‐isocyanate (IPDI), and 4,4′‐di(socyanatocyclohexyl)methane (H~12~MDI) at stoichiometric ratios (__r__‐value
