β¦ Synopsis
A method is proposed for studying the influence of vibrational excilation of radicals on their reactivity in bimolecular reactions. Investigations of the reaction CFZCI + HCI 4 CF2 HCI + Cl by this method show for the first time that this rexlion isaccelcrated by vibrational cscitntion of CFzCI* radicals. Under rhc csperimcntal conditions. it WIS round lhar X-;/X-, 2 6.0.

## Abstract The mechanisms and dynamics studies of the OH radical and Cl atom with CF~3~CHClOCHF~2~ and CF~3~CHFOCHF~2~ have been carried out theoretically. The geometries and frequencies of all the stationary points are optimized at the B3LYP/6β311G(d,p) level, and the energy profiles are further
## Abstract Rate constants have been measured in several aqueous/organic solvent mixtures for the addition reaction of Cl~2~^Λβ^ radicals with 2βpropenβ1βo1 and 2βbutenβ1βo1 as a function of temperature and with 2, 3βdimethylβ2βbutene at room temperature. The rate constants were in the range of 10^
An order of magnitude enhancement of the XeCl(B,C) formation rate constants was observed for the 300 K reactions of Xe( 6p[ l/2] 0 and [ 3/2]\*) atoms with CF&l, CF& and CF,HCl, relative to the reactions of Xe( 6s, 3P2) atoms. Similar large XeCl( B,C) formation enhancement factors were found for rea
