Abstract

The total synthesis of (R)‐(‐)‐cembrene‐A was described in ∼29% overall yield from E‐geranyl acetone and (R)‐(+)‐limonene through ten steps by using the modified Wittig reaction and titanium‐induced intramolecular carbonyl coupling as key steps.
