โœฆ Synopsis

with dry methanol (10 ml) and 1 %I w/w sulphuric acid for 2 hours were converted into methyl esters of liberated fatty acids.

Pun@ation andldentfiatwn ofFatty Acids b., the Application of

Chromatographr

Five thin-layer chromatograms 20 cm x 20 cm of thickness (0.25 mm) were prepared by the use of silica gel (30 g) and distilled water (45 ml) for the purification of each sample of methyl esters (100 mg). The developing solvent system and the non-destructive locating reagent ether : hexane (1 : 9 v/v) and 2,7-dichlorofluorescein were used respectively. The Pye Unicam 204 Series Gas Liquid Chromatograph was applied by using a column (152.4 cm x 0.95 an) prepared by coating FETTE . SEIFEN . ANSTRICHMITTEL 87. Jahrgang Nc 6 1985
