The ether extract of tbe root of Pteryxia terebinthina var. californica (Coult. and Rose) Mathias, in addition to osthol, anomalin (I), and pteryxin (111), afforded two new coumarins: 3'(S),4'(S)-3'-angeloyloxy-4'-acetoxy-~',4'-dihydroseselin (IV) and ## 3'(S),4'(S)-3'-angeloyloxy-4'-senecioyloxy-3
