The Raman and ir spectra of a murine IgG2a monoclonal antibody molecule are reported. In accordance with previous studies on immunoglobulins, the secondary structure is predominantly of the โค-sheet type. The low frequency region of the Raman spectrum was also analyzed in detail. The Ramon spectrum ofn-C36H74 has been measured in the region between 0 and 150 cm-'. Eleven newiy observed bands have been assigned to the intramolecular skeletal vibrations and rotatory httice vibrations on the basis of the dispersion curves cakuiated previously.
