✦ Synopsis

The absorption spectrum of (\mathrm{C}{2} \mathrm{D}{2}) in the region of (3 v_{\mathrm{CD}}) is recorded at high resolution using a Fourier transform spectrometer. Sixteen bands bave been observed, from which 14 are rotationally analyzed. Absolute intensities are provided for those with an upper state of (\Sigma_{u}^{+})symmetry. Vibrational parameters are obtained for the stretching vibrations. IC) 1994 Academic Press. Inc.

The very weak bands nu1 + 2nu2 + 3nu3 and 4nu1 + nu3 of 16O3 have been observed for the first time, using the Fourier transform spectrometer (FTS) of Reims and the usual experimental setup providing a large product p x l of approximately 38 Torr x 36 m.
