Abstract

There are few reports of tumor thrombus formation in the umbilical vein. We report a case in which sonographic examination revealed tumor thrombus formation in the reopened umbilical vein in a patient with hepatic cirrhosis, primary liver cancer, and portal hypertension. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
