Abstract
A technique for effectively tuning the resonant frequency of a microstripline feed dielectric resonator (DR) antenna is demonstrated. By embedding a pair of narrow slots in the antenna's ground plane, the resonant frequency of the DR antenna can be varied by adjusting the embedded slot length.
