The singlet exciton-charge carrier annihilation rate constant KS has been measured CLS Xi x 10-5cm3 set-1 for hoies and electrons. The mngnitude of Ks is discussed with respect to the magnitude of rhc electron-hole recombination rate constant.

Singlet excitons in anthracene crystal are annihilated by trapped hoIes near an Au hole-injecting electrode. The efficiency of detrappiny is about 1%. The singlet exciton fluorescence can be modulated by means of a varying external eIectric field.
## Abstract The fluorescence quenching under high excitation intensities has been studied in anthracene crystals. The singlet–singlet annihilation constant of (1 ± 0.5) × 10^−8^ cm^3^ s^−1^ is calculated from the quenching of fluorescence induced by a nitrogen 16 ns pulse laser (λ = 3371 Å). The ma
We have measured the magnetic field dependence of the prompt fluorescente of anthracene crystals at temperatures down to 10 K. Fklow 50 K the field dependence of prompt and delayed fluorescente ísnot symmetrïc anymore. Thk shows. that the prompt and the delayed fluorescente originate from different
