## Abstract The headspace (HS) volatile compounds of the flowers of ridge gourd (__Luffa acutangula__) and bitter gourd (__Momordica charantia__) were analysed by solidโphase microextraction (SPME) coupled with capillary gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GCโMS). In the ridge gourd, 16 volatiles
