## Abstract A novel microwave active bandpass filter structure, using a combination of microstrip line resonators and FETs, is described. The resulting filter not only produces positive gain but also has good performance regarding sharpness of skirts, rejection, and input and output return losses.

This paper reviews and extends the design procedures developed recently for a broad class of multilayer microwave circuits such as couplers, filters, and baluns. Multilayer configurations are now becoming increasingly popular at microwave frequencies due to the several advantages over single-layer c
The principle of trans¨ersal filters is well known in digital filtering. This paper deals with acti¨e trans¨ersal filters. A new design approach is presented. We show how acti¨e elements can be used in the design of amplification elements and large microwa¨e time delay. We present analytical and com
The validity and accuracy of the formulas are within the limits well known for conformal-mapping-based quasi-TEM approximations.
## Abstract This article presents a new methodology based on active band pass filter. In the proposed design, a resonator consists of an active negative capacitor together with a conventional inductor represented. The active negative capacitor is made of a fieldβeffect transistor that exhibits nega
