โœฆ Synopsis

The principle of transยจersal filters is well known in digital filtering. This paper deals with actiยจe transยจersal filters. A new design approach is presented. We show how actiยจe elements can be used in the design of amplification elements and large microwaยจe time delay. We present analytical and computer-simulated results for an actiยจe bandpass filter in the C-band.

A novel design for a 3 dB Lange coupler based on complementary deformed omega structure (CDOS) is proposed. Observations, from parametric study for the CDOS based Lange coupler, are provided to aid in the design process. A functional linked artificial neural network has been used to determine the di

This article proposes a new approach for the analysis and design of negativeresistance oscillators using computer-aided engineering tools. The method presented does not require any special probe and makes the oscillator design similar to the methodology applied to amplifiers. It speeds up convergenc

In this paper, two issues in structural control are discussed. First, the prediction-type Kalman ยฎlter approach is used to estimate the full-state variables of a building's seismic response from a limited number of measurements and the full-state feedback control strategy can be applied. The result
