β¦ Synopsis
High-performance liquid chromatography on an ion-exchange column for the separation of methyl-substituted benz[c]acridines was investigated. A cation-exchange column (Partisil 10 SCX) was used with acetonitrilee0.001 M (NH&HP04 as the mobile phase. The retention times depended on the composition of the mobile phase. An elution order depending on the pK, values was established.
