The kinetics of emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization of vinyl acetate using the redox initiation system of potassium persulfate-potassium metabisulfite was studied. The effect of the reaction conditions on the rate of polymerization was also investigated. The polymerization proceeded smoothly unt
