## Abstract Indium interdiffusion in MBE‐grown CdTe/InSb heterostructures was studied by optical and surface techniques of photoluminescence (PL), X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS). A correlation between the two types of investigations is established.
