## Abstract The synthesis of [^3^H]CPโ€96,501 [5โ€(2,3โ€ditritiopropoxy)โ€3โ€(1,2,5,6โ€tetrahydropyridโ€4โ€yl)indole], a selective radioligand for the serotonin (5โ€HT~1B~) receptor and analog of RUโ€24,969, is described. 5โ€Hydroxyindole is converted in two steps to 5โ€(2โ€propenyloxy)โ€3โ€(Nโ€__t__โ€butoxycarbony
