✦ Synopsis

Abstract

Three new secoprezizaane sesquiterpene lactones, (1__R__,2__S__)‐1,2‐epoxyneomajucin (1), (2__R__)‐2‐hydroxyneomajucin (2), and (2__R__)‐2‐hydroxymajucin (3), along with six known compounds (4–9), were isolated from the poisonous shrub Illicium micranthum. Their structures were established by in‐depth analyses of spectroscopic and mass‐spectrometric data.
