## Abstract Driftβwave turbulence in the linear VINETA [1] device was studied using the adapted version [2] of the threedimensional gyrofluid code GEM3 [3]. The density and parallel velocity gyrofluid equations of electrons and ions for the cylindrical annulus are solved. It is shown that the code
