## Abstract Raman spectra are reported of potential dependent surface species on an unroughened platinum electrode in 1.0 M H~2~SO~4~, 10^β3^ M KI. The results obtained using signalβaveraging and βline imagingβ of the laser are contrasted with previously reported spectra obtained using platinized h
A general formalism for resonance Raman scattering is presented which treats both linear and quadratic electronphoton interactions. The time correlation functions which are involved in resonance Raman scattering both from a single vibronic state and from the initially distributed vibronic states are
## Abstract The Raman spectra of bromine and iodine adsorbed on 5A and 13X zeolites from carbon tetrachloride solutions presented bands that were assigned to chemical and physical adsorption. Using a rotating cell and an oscillating optical system it was possible, choosing a convenient laser power,
