Overlapping resonances in the two-dimensional nuclear Overhauser (NOESY) spectrum of the O-antigenic polysaccharide from Escherichia coli O147 have been resolved by recording a tilted projection of a threedimensional NOESY-HSQC spectrum, where the carbon-13 and proton evolutions are linked together.

A spin-echo sequence is proposed for the suppression of the generally unnecessary strong direct cross-peaks in two-dimensional heteronuclear NOE and relayed incoherent transfer spectroscopy. The procedure also increases the intensity of 'remote peaks,' thereby enhancing the sensitivity of these tech
In two-dimensional homonuclear experiments, reliable detection of very small cross peaks is sometimes hampered by t1-noise from larger diagonal peaks which have the same F2 frequency. This t1-noise can be selectively removed by recording partial 2D spectra using the double pulsed field gradient spin
Ahstraet A two-layer simulated neural network has been trained to classify cross-peaks in two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance spectra. Examples of peaks for both network training and testing were selected by an experienced spectroscopist. The trained network has been used to classify previous
