✦ Synopsis
The Raman spectrum of the Coriolis interacting u2, us bands of CD,CI was recorded with a resolution of cu 0.6 cm-'. Using the vibrational-rotational parameters of Yamada and Hirota, a computer simulation of the Raman contour was performed, yielding relative values of Raman polarizability derivatives for these bands. By comparison with the absolute intensity measurement of Orza et al., absolute values of the Raman polarizabilities were obtained. The sign of the Raman intensity perturbation was found to be negative.

## Abstract The ν~5~ Raman band of CH~3~CD~3~ was photographed with a resolution of about 0.4 cm^−1^ and analysed by an iterative method, in which the peak wavenumbers of the observed and computed contours are compared directly. Precise values for ν~0~ and Δ__B__ were obtained, whereas it only coul
The infrared spectra of 16 O 3 have been recorded in the 3700 cm 01 region, with a Fourier transform spectrometer at 0.008 cm 01 resolution. A White-type cell, ᐉ Å 32.16 m, filled with 42.8 Torr O 3 was used. This spectral region corresponds to the n 2 / 3n 3 and n 1 / n 2 / 2n 3 bands. The n 2 / 3n
The \(\nu_{2}+\nu_{3}-\nu_{2}\) hot band of \(\mathrm{NH}_{3}^{+}\left(\dot{X}^{2} A_{2}^{\prime \prime}\right)\) has been observed on the absorption spectrum recorded by using a difference frequency laser spectrometer combined with the velocity modulation technique in the region between 3500 and \(
The high resolution infrared spectra of 12 CD 3 I and 13 CD 3 I molecules have been measured in the region of the CD 3 deformation bands n 2 and n 5 using a Fourier transform spectrometer. The coupled band system n 2 , n 5 , and 2n 3 has been analyzed by taking into account the Coriolis resonances n
Using a Fourier transform spectrometer, we have recorded the spectra of ozone in the region of 4600 cm 01 , with a resolution of 0.008 cm 01 . The strongest absorption in this region is due to the n 1 / n 2 / 3n 3 band which is in Coriolis interaction with the n 2 / 4n 3 band. We have been able to a
