✦ Synopsis

The design and use of questionnaires in course and faculty evaluation are discussed and the literature surveyed. Problems of questionnaire construction and interpretation of results are described and a questionnaire developed by the authors in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo is given as an example.
