✦ Synopsis
We theoretically study the electron-electron scattering rate τ -1 ee for electrons in a twodimensional electron gas with a perpendicular magnetic field, within the GW and plasmonpole approximations, as functions of temperature T , impurity scattering rate and magnetic field B. The τ -1 ee increases with increasing T and increasing , and shows the structure of the Landau levels as B is changed.
